Your first inspection establishes a baseline. Future inspections add dated photos or video and condition notes. Instead of trying to remember what the roof looked like two or three years ago, you have a visual history that can be compared over time.
If severe weather later moves through the area, a new inspection can be compared with earlier documentation. That history does not determine insurance coverage or prove the cause or date of damage, but it can give you and the professionals involved better information about the roof’s previously documented visible condition.

The purpose of the program is to give you useful information along the way — not to turn every annual inspection into a roof-replacement sales call.
